Kate talks about returning to One Tree Hill as Mia, working on her new album and being in scenes directed by One Tree Hill star Chad Michael Murray. The 31st edition of the One Tree Hill podcast includes an “Artist Alley” segment with Meaghan Smith whose song “I Know” was featured on the 40s noir episode, 611. There is also an exclusive interview, on the set in Wilmington, N.C., in a “Behind the Scenes of One Tree Hill” with Beth Crookham who is the assistant to Executive Producer Greg Prange as well as the ADR Coordinator. The episode closes with a character review of Nathan Scott including three songs that define Nathan from One Tree Hill Music Supervisor Lindsay Wolfington. The songs are:

In the 33rd edition of the One Tree Hill Podcast, the character reviews are completed with a character review of Peyton Sawyer. The Peyton Sawyer character review also includes songs that define Peyton Sawyer thanks to One Tree Hill Music Supervisor Lindsay Wolfington, who went all out for the broody blonde of One Tree Hill – as Lindsay included defining songs for Peyton in high school and post-college years. She also gives an added bonus sending along songs that define Lucas and Peyton’s relationship. I also included a song myself “Come Undone” by Jackson Waters, which opens Peyton’s character review. Exclusive commentary from Michael Leone, director of the 13th episode of season six, highlights the 34th edition of the One Tree Hill Podcast. The podcast also includes an “Artist Alley” segment with Rosi Golan whose song “Been a Long Day” was the coda song for the episode as well as a review of the episode.

ETA: Some fans have asked if the kiss Lucas placed on Peyton’s tummy at the end of the episode was unscripted. I asked Michael Leone this and this is what he replied:
The “tummy kiss” as you refer to it was also unscripted. As a father of 4 and drawing from personal experience, I suggested the idea to Chad as a way to make such a wonderful and special moment more personal for him.
Chad and Hilarie embraced the idea, and after take 1 we realized that the kiss added the perfect intimate gesture to an already very touching and romantic moment. I’m ecstatic that the fans agree.

The One Tree Hill Podcast No. 35
An exclusive interview with Joe Manganiello, who plays Owen, highlights the 35th edition of the One Tree Hill Podcast. Joe talks, in the Behind the Scenes of One Tree Hill segment, about the drastic turn in his character of Owen and his possible future on One Tree Hill. The podcast also includes and “Artist Alley” segment with William Fitzsimmons who teamed up with Rosi Golan for the coda song of 614 “Hazy” and a review of the 14th episode of season six.
Fans can also have a chance to take Joe Manganiello home with them – well an autographed photo anyway. The One Tree Hill Podcast will be giving away an autographed photo of Joe to one lucky fan.
