Finally! The first banner on hotmail who announces that Twilight comes in the theaters here next week: It's the first thing I've seen about the movie here besides the news on the websites of the different theaters here. Oh, btw, there are 2 big theatercompanies in the Netherlands and they both will have twilight, so that's good, probably means we have more and better ratings....

Wow, thats awesome that you get to see it so soon Anna! ;D Hope you enjoy it and have a great time! You'll have to let me know what you think! ;D And thats great that big companies are showing it, the more money the better! I noticed loads of twilight advertisments on UK msn this week, so felt like screencapping them! lol on MSN today, which comes up everytime i log on, it has something new about twilight every day! Lol, that picture of the two headed cat is kind of creepy.. Down the side of the contacts list, it has a twilight icon! Lol, this came out weird, very small.. plus with the contacts copied also.. Which leads to this where people can download a messenger pack, icons, emotions etc! And I just read that Rob is going to be on UK GMTV on thursday!! Between 7am and 9.25am, ill definately be up to watch it! Source- GMTV news, whats on? Its so good to see it getting promotion here, we havent had anything on tv since the Paul O'Grady show a month ago, but makes sence for him to be on GMTV on Thurs, considering that the premiere is the day before!

Credit to: Edwardandbella.net I heard from someone online that Kristen said the amount of fans there was actually BIGGER then the one in the USA! Crazy huh? I'm kind of glad i didnt go though, its so cold atm, and if it was so crowded i probably wouldnt have got an autograph anyway... I'm excited to see all the news clips tomorrow! I'm making sure im up to see Rob on GMTV, and ill be on the lookout because i heard that Alex Zane interviewed Rob, which means there might be a T4 movie special! Squee! I just found this on the site of my theater about the Books:
This is what it says: Twilight is based on the books with the same names from Stephanie Meyer, who has been called by the magazine Empire as "Anne Rice meets 90210". The books are actually about a 14 (isn't Bella 17??? She becomes 18 in New Moon, right??) year old girl. But altho it's about a young girl, it seems like there is a much bigger crowed for the books than just high school girls. There are around 69 million websites founded about the books, which is so much more than for the Harry Potter books, that the big fan base of Harry Potter seem really small compared with it. Or something like that haha.
It's great how they say that about Harry Potter!!!

More stuff about the premier!!! Kristen Stewart: Born To Be Bad!Twilight twosome Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson put on their best head-to-toe black ensembles for the premiere of their haunting film at Vue West End in London on Tuesday evening. Kristen, 18, has just signed on to play rocker Joan Jett in the upcoming The Runaways, about the punk practitioner’s 1970s all-girl rock band responsible for “Cherry Bomb,” “Queens of Noise” and “Born to Be Bad.” She’ll tackle that role after she and Rob, 22, film New Moon (March 2009), the first of three sequels to Twilight. Heres vids from UK news shows, FINALLY some UK promotion! After all Rob is English its about time he went on GMTV lol!! So why not before?!
I literally squealed when he came on, my mum thinks im crazy haha! And later on, when it was only me and my dad at home, I flicked through the channels, and it was saying 'coming up soon' and it showed a clip of the movie! So i was like, 'I AM watching this' and so my dad said 'what?' But anyway they had an interview with Kristen and Catherine on BBC news! I was just saying 'Its twilightt!!' Its funny seeing my parents comments, all my mum said was 'He has a lovely voice' -about Rob And all my dad said is, 'she looks nervous' - about Catherine, aha... that is all.
Anyway, vid!
And heres the link to the BBC news clip..
I preferred Robs one aha, he just seems more funny in interviews..
Love the article anyway, its cool about Kristens new role! That actually sounds like a really good movie!

OMG, girls, I just got back from the movie and I promise I won't spoil ANYTHING! I just want to say that the movie was AMAZING!! And in my life I have seen 1 movie that was a lot like the book, but today I saw the SECOND one!!! I've never seen a movie that is so close to the book! Okay, there are some differences, but it doesn't spoil it at all and it's just the best movie ever! Just like the book! Altho I still think that the book is better, but that's hard to compete with haha. But you don't have to be afraid it will be as bad as the movies about Harry Potter, it's so much better!!!
There was just one bad thing about everything, because it was shown in one of the smallest cinemas in our theater and there were only 55 people who came to see it. I wish it got more attention here!!!

IMDB TOP 25 FILMS OF 2008!!
Twilight came in at number 2!! Second only to the Dark Knight =]
That screaming sound you hear is the thousands -- nay, millions -- of fans who waited with bated breath for the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's runaway vampire bestseller.

Yay, finally i dont have to worry about spoilers! [though i looked anyway ] Just wondering something, but when everyone saw the movie the first time what were the reactions from other people also watching it? Because i was surprised how crazy people can be here also! There was about 200 people in the screen i was in (all teenagers/young adults apart from about 10 thirty plus year olds) actually it was full, which was actually pretty great. It was full of people from school/college as they all finished by midday at this was the 1.30 showing. But anyway, everyone sort of squealed when it started and when Edward first came in etc.. plus everyone laughed so much - at the right parts - like when Bella met the Cullens for the first time etc.. Well, everyone also laughed loads at the first biology scene.. but that scene was a bit weird, i kind of laughed also.. Thats the only film ive been to where everyones seemed so excited.. just wondering was it the same for everyone else? With screaming crazy fangirls? Or was it quiet? (which would have been nice..)

I can't remember anyone being really excited. Just some girls about the free posters that were given away, small versions of the two big movieposters! But it was pretty quiet in the place where I went to see it! I can't remember anyone laughing really hard or anything...

Cultural Lessons: Vampires made 90210’s teens look fake High school is such an otherworldly experience that it works best as a setting when its actors have fangs. Much to-do was made over the summer about the launch of a new Beverly Hills, 90210, but the zeitgeist stayed at least a few area codes away. What the kids were really texting each other about was what was happening on the big screen, Catherine Hardwicke’s slick adaptation of the first book in Stephenie Meyer’s addictive Twilight series. Like the book it’s based on, the film succeeded because it framed teenage heartbreak and longing as a very real matter of life and death: If Bella goes off with Edward, she will be bit in the neck and drained of her blood. Anyone who remembers anything about adolescence knows the metaphor rings true: The throes of first love can feel like a stake through the heart. While the next generation of Lindsay Lohans and Paris Hiltons competed to see who could wear the most expensive shoes on TV, real drama was happening up the coast in Washington state. What does it feel like to be young and powerless, ostracized and desperately searching for a soulmate? The answer could never be found in southern California. This year, teenagers were looking for something with a more authentic bite. Ben Kaplan, National Post [How could 90210, even with Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty reprising their roles from the original, expect to compete with the heady teenage lust of Twilight's Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart?
