High School Musical 3 Premieres in AustraliaAshley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens sandwich in Zac Efron at the the premiere of High School Musical 3: Senior Year at the Greater Union George Street cinemas on Monday in Sydney, Australia. The trio was accompanied by director Kenny Ortega, who said, “I never would have thought this film would have had the global reach it has. I wept my eyes out on our final scene when the curtain came down. I had that bitter-sweet moment parents have when they send their kids off to college. I do fear for them because it’s a fickle industry and there’s lots of traps. But I have great confidence … that they are going to make good decisions and stay around for a minute.” Source: JJ, click here for more photos.

Zac Efron is a Gadget GuyZac Efron called into New Zealand radio station ZM 91.0 on Friday, November 14th and talked with DJ Polly on gadgets, high school and actor Christopher Walken. Not only did Zac, 21, confess that he’s a gadget kind of guy, he also shared what the hardest thing about high school was for him was. He said, “Probably the academics. I was in all advanced classes, I took advanced placement English and history and that was pretty time consuming. I was very focused on that.” The High School Musical leading man also shared that he couldn’t believe that he was in a movie (Hairspray) with actor Christopher Walken. He said, “I’ve enjoyed most of his movies at this point and he’s just a huge talent. I remember I was doing a table read and I just couldn’t believe that I was sitting so close to this guy. He sounds exactly the same in real life, it’s amazing.” Listen to the full podcast at ZMOnline.com! Source: JJ Jr.

EXCLUSIVE: PEOPLE's HSM Shoot!Zac Efron cools his dancing feet with a dip in the pool during PEOPLE's exclusive photo shoot with the High School Musical 3: Senior Year stars. Showing off his unique diving form, Efron takes the plunge into the pool at a Beverly Hills estate. "It's strange," he says of the ever-present paparazzi. "Every day is a crazy adventure. We do some pretty kooky things to avoid them. It's like The Bourne Identity. I'm starting to learn the ways of the ninja." Efron's on- and off-screen girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens, also goes for a dip in the pool – albeit in a flowery inner tube – during the shoot with photographer Michael Lavine, who's also snapped the Jonas Brothers, Cher and 50 Cent. At an on-location shoot in New York City, Corbin Bleu enjoys the view of the Empire State Building from atop the trendy Maritime Hotel. Of his new, un-Chad-like facial scruff, Bleu says, "That's the way I naturally am. I'm a guy. I'm part Italian. My father has a goatee, and I guess I take after him." Lucas Grabeel – who worked at a Blockbuster video store before starring in the blockbuster franchise – monkeys around at the Beverly Hills shoot. Giving her floaty Abaeté dress a whirl, Monique Coleman is fresh and pretty at Michael Lavine's third shoot with the cast members in Encino, Calif. What does her post-HSM life hold? "No idea," she tells PEOPLE. "Of course, I'm an actress, so I'm going to be dramatic and worried about it!" Ashley Tisdale cools her heels in the grass at the Encino, Calif., shoot – a much needed breather before the madness of High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which hits theaters Oct. 24.

I just got back from seeing this movie and it was actually really good! I loved it! It was a true HSM movie, but the end also closed the movies finally. I don't know how to explain without giving anything away, but the ending really showed that this was the very last movie. And that's okay, because all the storyline are closed now and it was so great!! I hope you all get to see it... soon! haha
