'90210' Party Report"Beverly Hills, 90210" alums Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth joined the cast of the CW's extremely-anticipated new series "90210" this past Saturday night to celebrate the show's launch, which, btw, is only seven days away! Of course, the soiree was tres chic and ultra-exclusive. See the photo slideshow here!BFFs? Hardly: Shannen and Jennie will be reprising their roles as Brenda Walsh and Kelly Taylor in the new 9-0, so it was no surprise that they both attended the premiere party. Of course, all eyes were on the fabulously dressed duo. Although the two have said only nice things about getting to work with each other again, Shannen and Jennie arrived separately and somehow managed to avoid each other the entire night. The ladies played nice, but I'm still holding out for a hair-pulling, divalicious smackdown between the old "friends" -- onscreen and off! Sand Between Your Toes: Most girls never leave home without a pair of sky-high heels, but they're not ideal footwear for the beach. Guests who wanted to venture beyond the tents to take a stroll in the sand were treated to a pair of "90210" branded flip-flops. We wouldn't want those freshly manicured toes getting ruined now, would we? California Peaches Are Just As Sweet: In honor of the gang's hangout spot, the Peach Pit, the soiree's signature thingytail was the Peach Bellini. And if bubbly isn't your thing, Cosmos and 'Ritas were also on the menu. Speaking of the Peach Pit, Joe E. Tata, who's returning as Peach Pit owner Nat, was also at the bash. Never Party on an Empty Stomach: Partygoers who ate dinner beforehand were disappointed upon arrival because food was one thing this party was NOT lacking. Even with the meat carving station and the noodle spread, I couldn't tear myself away from the mashed potatoes bar that had every topping imaginable. With so much to choose from, I seriously started stressin' over what I should pile onto my taters. And oh the desserts - mini cupcakes and mousse shots! Smiles and Smooches: The new kids -- AnnaLynne McCord, Tristan Wilds, Jessica Stroup, Dustin Milligan, Ryan Eggold, Adam Gregory, Michael Steger, and Shenae Grimes - were all smiles on the teal carpet. It was all about having fun for the young actors who playfully posed for photographers and unabashedly flirted with one another. I wouldn't be surprised if there have been some onset hookups amongst the attractive cast! Not shocking, but just as sweet, were Jennie Garth and her hubby Peter Facinelli. The happily married couple cuddled and smooched throughout the evening's festivities. "Twilight" Sighting: On a totally "90210"-unrelated note, who else is super excited that the premiere date for "Twilight" has been moved up to November 21? Spotted at the party was "Twilight" star Kellen Lutz. He'll be playing Emmett Cullen in the vampire flick, but on "90210" his character, George Evans, is the thingyy lacrosse star of West Bev High. The Premiere Episode Is Top Secret: The night's biggest let down was that we didn't get to see the show's pilot episode! The cast did reveal that they've been working long hours doing reshoots in order to get it just right, and promised me that there will be tons of twists and turns throughout the first episode alone. I'm totally holding them to their word! My jaw better drop this coming Tuesday! Source: Yahoo OMG

‘90210′ — The Reviews Are In!
The first reviews are in from last nigiht’s two-hour premiere of the much-buzzed-about 90210. Check it.
“90210 is a perfectly competent and reasonably seamless revival that understands what made the original tick (and tick and tick), while being infused (occasionally suffused) with enough contemporary touchstones to remind new viewers that this isn’t their parents’ (or at least older siblings’) trusty fave… 90210 is not a disaster, and the CW can now officially let out a deep
sigh … of relief.” — Newsday
“More than just a famous zip code, 90210 is easily the most hyped show of the fall season and the CW is banking on all of the buzz to draw in big ratings. This spinoff, eight years after the first series ended, is a pallid copy of the original fish out of water story only with shinier cars, fancier clothes and Botox aplenty.” — Variety
“All the expected ingredients were there: gorgeous teens, lots of style and extravagance, raging hormones, and always the potential for backstabbing, broken hearts and payback. Same old, same old at West Beverly Hills High School.”– AP

90210 Episode Recap: "Lucky Strike"
After scoring record-breaking ratings last week with the debut of 90210, the freshman series has returned for episode number two where we learn Silver has been hiding a doozy of a secret from her friends and family, and Naomi's world is turned upside down by a shocking revelation.
The episode begins with a frantic Wilson family running around with no time to sit down and enjoy a good, old fashioned breakfast that mom made. This prompts Debbie and Harry to declare a family fun night (on a Friday, no less) at the bowling alley, Lucky Strike. But the kiddies are less than thrilled with spending a night on the town with the rents. Dixon has plans to watch a screening of the new Bond flick at Navid's place with the guys (though chances are they secretly just want to get a peek of one of his pornos), and Annie has a date with Ty to see a concert. Despite their pleading of how family time doesn't work that way in their new zip, Harry puts his foot down and simply says, "Well then we're just going to have to bring a little Kansas to Beverly Hills."
Silver's family life appears to be in shambles. Turns out she had been crashing at a women's shelter she volunteered for. But when she's turned away because the facility is full, she asks her big sis if she can stay under the guise of her wanting to have a fun bonding night. But it's a no-go with Kelly because she has a secret date with fellow staff member Ryan (who always seems to turn into a rambling fool around her).
Meanwhile, Naomi is set to head off to her ever-so-exclusive party in Vegas with her dad, but at the last minute, pops backs out without so much as a hint of guilt and tosses her a set of keys to her new Benz. A visibly distraught Naomi is left speechless. I'd be pissed too. I mean, seriously? Who does he think he is giving her a Benz and not a Beamer? For shame!
Back at the Lucky Strike bowling alley, both Annie and Dixon conspire to have Ty and Dixon's buds casually bump into the Wilson family and join them for a game or two. That way they can sneak out a bit early. Erin (who Dixon is totally digging) is the first to show, and is loving every minute of being a part of a loving fam. Ethan and Navid show up next (love that Navid came with his own bowling ball), and Ethan has a great time — watching Annie bowl in her mini-skirt, that is. The two have a heart-to-heart outside and we learn Ethan's parent got divorced last year. But as the two get a bit closer, Ty pops up out of the woodwork and puts an end to their canoodling.
The best line of the night goes to Naomi and Adrianna where the two are driving in Naomi's new ride while Adrianna is singing a little Sarah Bareilles. Naomi: "You sound pitchy." Adrianna: "You sound *friendly*y." Though Naomi is still flaring her nostrils about her dad ditching her, she brings him dinner at work. But instead of finding her dad slaving away with a merger, she finds him kissing another woman. Not sure why she proceeded to head to the bowling alley after seeing something that traumatic, but she did, and Ethan tries to comfort her through it (to Annie's dismay). The worst part of the whole thing? When Naomi finally gathers the courage to tell her mom what she saw, all her mother can say is, "I know all about it." Talk about having your world rocked.
While all this drama is going down, Kelly and Ryan seem to be hitting it off. Despite the fact she's not ready to let Ryan meet her son, she still feels comfortable enough to tell him the only person her baby knows is his father who happens to be someone she had "a lot of history with in high school." Could it be Dylan? Brandon? Dear god, don't say it's Steve! The two end the night with some awkwardness in the car, but finally kiss.
After Dixon finds Silver sleeping in her car and learns the truth that she's avoiding staying at home because of her mom's erratic drunken behavior, he convinces her to tell his parents. Harry takes the matter to Kelly, and she knows the time has come for her to confront mommy dearest. In a blast from the past, Kelly and her mom have it out (and yes, that is the original Jackie Taylor played by Ann Gillespie), only to have Silver stop by and get in the middle of it. Jackie ultimately kicks both her daughters out, and Silver goes to stay with Kelly.
Not a bad episode, all in all. One thing I have to question about this episode is how can Debbie and Harry carry on so carefree and cutesy after the love child bombshell was dropped last week? Other than that, I found it picked up a bit more since the premiere's set-up. It was great to see another old face, and we know another piece of the puzzle of Kelly's baby-daddy mystery. So what did you think of the "Lucky Strike" episode? Did you find the fact that students were flocking to bowl with the new principal as odd as I did? And did anyone else wonder where Grandma Wilson (oh, how I love her one-liners) was during the family shindig? Tell us your take now!

A CW representative confirms this morning's report that Jason Priestley will be swinging by the 90210 set to direct the 18th episode of the season. As you know, Priestley and the other male castmembers from the original series (Luke Perry, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green et al.) have been camera-shy about the spinoff so far, but apparently Jason's OK with the idea, so long as he is behind the camera. All that said, it might be a long time before we actually see the product of Priestley's directorial efforts... Sources say the show is currently in production on episode 11, and Priestley's episode 18 would not premiere until the spring. (A rep for Priestley says that as of today he's out of the country, shooting another project.) Priestley's directed a lot of TV in recent years, heading up episodes of Secret Life of an American Teenager, 7th Heaven and the late, great Grosse Pointe. A CW rep also confirmed to E! News that Shannen Doherty is in talks to appear in two more eps of 90210 as Brenda Walsh. Sources whisper that Doherty's next visits may be in episodes 11 and 12. Source: Watch with Kristen

So, I finally downloaded the first 2 episodes of 90210 and I have to admit, it's nice! I kind of like it already, so I'm gonna check out some other episodes too! But the ending of episode 2 was classic, an other lovetriangle, but I really like Ethan and I was waiting on a kiss between them all along!

Especially not the way she used Ethan! I hated that a lot! I know, it takes so long and I hate that too, but luckly it wasn't that much of a cliffhanger at the end of the last episode!
