Rumors for GG: And So It Begins...The Gossip Girl rumor mill is in overdrive these days, but this one's the best yet. Ed Westwick, ahem, Chuck Bass, is in talks to design a line. Yes, you heard us correctly. Apparently, the king of ripped shirts and lead singer of Filthy Youth can't wait to add his "two cents" to "the creative side" of a certain label related to his Vanity Fair shoot. His outfit, (in the August issue), is Thom Browne, but his sunglasses are Jack Spade and, well, that would be the most perfect collaboration ever. So instead of ripping out magazine pictures and taking them into stores to emulate your favorite GG character, which is apparently all the rage, you can just buy it from your favorite character in the first place. That's easier. And way more fun. Source: Fashionista

In this week’s Page Six Magazine, the 21-year-old British actor opened up about the “bootlicking” he’s received as being the villainous but charming Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl – and rumors he’s homosexual.
On his relationship with co-star and roommate Chace Crawford: “People think Chace is homosexual, and thought I was homosexual, that we were humping. It’s not true, but hilarious. People project their fantasies onto people. I’ve never been someone who makes it my objective to go out and pick up chicks. But I’ve met some fantastic ladies here. You know those amazing conversations where you find yourself in a café talking until 2 a.m. and never see them again.”
On refusing to let all the fan adulation go to his head: “There are perks to this job. We [the Gossip Girl cast] were all thrown into this situation with a lot of attention on us, and you get a lot of free clothes and s–t but that’s no reason not to stay grounded. What am I really doing, baby? Saving the world? Nah, I’m on television.”
On his portrayal as Chuck Bass being just as notable as his own bad behavior and sense of style: “Chuck is an iconic character and the clothes are iconic. I think I rock the look well. My style has always been good. Top notch, baby. I like the glamorous indie rock look, like the Libertines. But you know, without the heroin needle sticking out of my arm.”
On not being shy about his late night partying, or his frequent visits to the clubs with his band Filthy Youth: “If I want to go out and drink and throw a glass in the street, I’ll do it. As long as the reason is that I want to have fun and not that I want to create some sort of tension around me. Then I’d be a d–k. But I’m not.”
On planning to enjoy the city and the last warm days of the season: “I love going out in the summer. The girls wear their nice dresses. Did that sound sleazy? It really did, didn’t it? Put it like this: Everyone comes out looking gorgeous in summer. We are a more beautiful species in the summer. No doubt Chuck Bass would say ‘cheers’ to that, baby.”

The Poetry of Ed Westwick
He plays the ever-arrogant Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl, but Ed Westwick has a surprising sensitive side — and a way with words.
“I’ve been writing a lot of poetry recently,” Westwick, 21, told People magazine. “It helps me think and work things out.”
Westwick shared with the celebrity news magazine a poem from memory that he wrote “at like six in the morning” recently.
Just don’t read too much into the words.
“Nothing I’ve been writing has a definitive point of aim,” the actor says. “I feel like you just need to keep writing until the writing itself just begins to take shape.”
His "Untitled" poem:
Tell me what can you want?
You’ve got it all.
Things are real in a handshake.
Rest my bones these days in a different way.
Cherish the change; it may not stay.
I remember your dress,
Like dreams when you wake with a sudden start.
You’re beside me in the dark,
Wrapped in my arms.
Love is being entranced in a glance,
To muster up courage when you’re flustered,
To stumble on the words you prepare.
Don’t worry about the money that went down the drain
Because the best things in life are free.

Spotted: Drew Barrymore and Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick were caught in a full-on make-out session at the Kings of Leon concert in Manhattan on Tuesday night. The pair was also seen together at the Saturday Night Live after-party which also had The Kings of Leon playing. A possible future wedding with Drew and Ed MUST have The Kings of Leon play! Ed, 21, had his BFF Chace Crawford at Webster Hall last night as well. Barrymore, 33, broke up with actor Justin Long back in July. The pair headed to Fat Cat Billiards after Webster Hall and shot pool with Ellen Page and Emile Hirsch. Source: JJ Photo Source: Vanity Fair

Source: JJ Photo Source: Vanity Fair Another Story: In one of the strangest pairings of Drew Barrymore’s serial monogamist career, the actress was spotted, photographed and subsequently blogged about clinched in a conspicuous concert makeout session with Gossip guy Ed Westwick. (However, we are talking about a woman once married to Tom Green, so maybe it’s not that strange?) Her rep had no comment on the reported smooch. The weirdest part is probably the 12-year age difference between the 33-year-old rom-com sweetheart and the 21-year-old actor who plays sleazy but totally awesome Chuck Bass. Maybe we're blowing this a bit out of proportion (after all, we do have a supercrush on Mr. Bass, so we're protective), but should we be concerned? Drew's not old by any means, but something about it comes off a little cougarish, and for Ed it's probably not the best idea to make it big by hooking up with Drew. Look how that worked out for Justin Long—he's still just the Mac dude who now sometimes gets to hang out with Kirsten Dunst. Source: E Online
