Yeah happy belated birthday Moira. I was happy that Karen was back and was the mother for B/P once again but I think she could have talked to them after the wedding, you know...? I missed a Lindsey/Karen(/Lucas) scene, you know...? Instead we had a scene with her and the girls...I guess she should have be with her son and her future daughter-in-law...I would love some scenes with her and Lindsey and some scenes were she talks with Lucas and is happy for him... I hoped that Lindsey would go with them to pick up his mother.

Yeah, I kind of agree with you. It would be great if Karen would have more lines indeed!!!

I think it was perfect the way it was. Karen was never connected to Lindsay like she was Brooke and Peyton and that showed in this episode. I think the the dis-connetion with Lucas was a bit strange though...a good Karen/Lucas scene is in order.

I know that she has a great connection with B/P and I loved her scenes together but to me she should have concentrated on her son and his wife-to-be.
She could have talked to them later but instead Karen head over to B/P and could have been late to her son's wedding...
Well maybe the whole scene wouldn't be that awkward if she had at least one scene with Lindsey...do they even know each other?
And also there were no scenes with Lindsey's family members, what was weird too...they made this scene about her father and how her mother struggled with his death and how they loved Lucas and there was no scene at all...

I think it was done that way on purpose to show that maybe Karen was happy for Lucas, but no happy enough to get to know Lindsay---like she deep down doesn't really approve. I think it worked out that way for a reason...to show the issues maybe Karen and Luacs are having.

Well if the purpose was to show that Karen didn't approve it would make me angry...because it would not be the Karen I love...she was always happy for her son no matter what and she never pushed him towards any of the girls, you know?
She always loved Lucas so much and would try to understand his decision even if she didn't approve them...I mean Lucas has to live with his decision or with the girl he chooses and not Karen. Lucas is the one who knows (or at least should know) what's best for him.
I didn't like it that there were not many mother/son scenes.

I hope things get better and we see more of Karen/Lily/Andy.

Yeah and I agree that there weren't any scenes with Karen and Lindsay while there should be, but it's up to Mark to decide that! I actualy loved the scene with Karen/Brooke/Peyton and I'm still looking for the lines of that scene!!!

Really an amazing scene one of the scenes that show me exactly why Karen is my favourite adult character in OTH. She is such a great mother, to all the kids who need it-Lucas (duh), Haley, Nathan, Brooke, Peyton...she is amazing. And a great mother to her little Lily.

She is so knowledgable and wise. She plays a great Mom on the show too. So caring and compassionate.

Heroes Redux: A One Tree Hill Star Has Been Cast!
Sources spill that One Tree Hill and West Wing alum Moira Kelly will be playing Abby Collins, a Homeland Security agent, in at least one episode of the Fugitives volume (the next chunk of episodes in the current third season).
