I have to agree with you Emma. I will hate the fourth if it doesn't have the real original cast.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens work up a sweat at a dance rehearsal for the upcoming feature film, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, at a hush-hush location in Utah on Tuesday and Wednesday. Looks like Zanessa’s still going strong, folks! How cute is Vanessa passing Zac a set of car keys behind her back??? Also spotted on set was Vanessa’s 22-year-old BFF Ashley Tisdale, who wore a “I Love Pink” shirt. Vanessa, 19, was also seen wearing “Eighty Sixers” sweats and carrying a UPS box with an envelope sticking out with her name on it. Zac, 20, was spotted holding a box of Nike sneakers. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are hard at work on the Utah set of High School Musical 3: Senior Year on Saturday. Talk about overtime–they’re working weekends!

Zac Efron shows off his washboard abs in a shirtless moment on the set of High School Musical 3 at a top secret location in Utah on Friday. Girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens was not far behind showing off some leopard-print undergarment. Zac was also seen wearing a Wildcats (ROAR!) basketball uniform, carrying a Nordstrom shopping bag and a stick (presumably for stick ball). Per usual, Zanessa was spotted holding hands. Everybody now… Awww!

Maybe she's a dancing teacher and does Zac have to learn how to dance, for prom? I don't know but she looks kind of old.

Vanessa Hudgens Talks Fashion and 'High School Musical 3'
Fresh from the High School Musical 3 press conference on Friday, the cast of the highly successful made-for-TV movie headed out to Utah to shoot their third installment, which will hit the big screen for the first time this October. During the press conference, the cast talked about some major developments in the plot and characters of the third movie, which will follow the Wild Cats in their last year in high school.
Vanessa Hudgens, who plays squeaky clean and super sweet Gabriella Montez since High School Musical's debut in January 2006, says that the third movie is “the last chapter for the Wildcats.” Nonetheless, she says it's good to be back in Utah, as it definitely “feels like home—being back here with everyone, it's amazing.” Your Take kelleygirl119 said: Can't wait for HSM3! see all » shawnamarieelston said: The show is awesome see all » PAIGEALLEN2 said: I LIKE YOUR SHOW see all »
As for the new characters we're going to meet in the third movie, Hudgens assures us that “they're all real characters that you know and see in high school.”
In addition, director Kenny Ortega says that he is truly inspired by his mentor, Gene Kelly, who appeared most notably in the film Singin' in the Rain.
“One great thing I learned from Gene Kelly was how to design choreography for the camera versus designing choreography for the stage,” Ortega said in the HSM3 press conference. “Gene used to say there should be a raison d'etre—a reason for being. What's at the center of everything?”
Zac Efron's Troy and Vanessa Hudgens' Gabriella seemed to be at the center of the first two movies, with the plot including their growing relationships with their peers. On the third installment however, they promise to bring in more developments and individual outlook, as the characters are now in the pivotal point in their lives—senior year.
Meanwhile, Hudgens still has other non-HSM endeavors in hand, as she is set to release her sophomore album entitled “Identified” come June 24. Moreover, she recently landed the list of People's 100 Most Beautiful of 2008. In fact, she did her People photo shoot without make-up, saying, “Just recently I've learned to be okay with myself without wearing makeup....I started taking care of my skin and realized I didn't need as much as I thought I did.”
The 19-year-old self-admitted “Christian Louboutin freak” told Glamour magazine that she adores style icons Mary-Kate Olsen, Victoria Beckham and Nicole Richie because they “have fun with fashion.” The best thing for Hudgens when it came to clothing and style is feeling “feminine and sexy—just how a girl should!”

Zac Efron is an upper classman – at last. The BMOC (Big Man on Campus) is now filming High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
"When I got there everyone was calm, collected. They were working really hard," Efron, 20, told PEOPLE about the new production while at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, where he won the prize for best breakthrough performance for his role as heartthrob Link Larkin in last year's movie musical Hairspray.
As for resuming his role as Troy Bolton in Disney's third HSM installment – which will be a feature rather than a TV movie – Efron says, "It felt like the first two movies all over again. We just kind of can't go wrong with Kenny Ortega as our director and leader and our great cast and crew. We've got no squabbles to get through."
As for making the leap to the big screen, "Everything's been stepped up a few notches, all the dances, and I think the songs are pretty catchy this time around. And it's our senior year, so we've got graduation and prom to look forward to. All fun things to have in a movie."

Ashley Tisdale and her backup dancer boyfriend Jared Murillo have gotten each other promise rings, reports In Touch.
The couple apparently have taken their nearly two-year relationship to the next level. Jashley picked up rings at Na Hoku jewelers in L.A. on May 30 to celebrate their upcoming anniversary.
“They were beautiful rings, and very elegant,” an insider says. “Their relationship is going strong.”
The 22-year-old High School Musical sweetie recently reunited with her boy-band beau after he completed a 26-city nationwide tour with his group V-Factory.
Jared, 19, is now supporting Ashley in Utah, where she is filming High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
Jared’s family members are already huge fans of Ashley’s. “She’s a loving, caring person,” Jared’s father, Alex Murillo, tells In Touch. “I’m so impressed with her.”

Ashley Tisdale was ring shopping last week, but it was boyfriend Jared Murillo who walked away with the bling. Despite reports that the couple picked up to two promise rings on a shopping trip to Na Hoku Jewelers, E! News has learned that Tisdale's already been sporting one from Murillo. "She already has a ring, they got it in Hawaii," a clerk at Na Hoku tells E! "They ordered one for him." Tisdale's rep denies Ashley bought or received a "promise ring," but it might boil down to semantics. According to our source, the pair visited Glendale Galleria shopping mall last Friday, where Tisdale paid the tab for the special purchase. "Something very sweet is written on it," the clerk says, though the specific inscription is confidential. Tisdale and Murillo (a Honolulu native) first met on a nationwide High School Musical tour in 2007, where Murillo was a backup dancer. "She was very sweet, just like a regular customer," we're told.
