I was reading on OTHForums about Tree Hill not having the same emotion that it had in the past four seasons. I wanted to see what you all think... The tread is here: www.othforums.com/viewthread.php?tid=37170But I think that it's better this season because they have grown up and they are trying to make adult decisions. They are trying to think before acting(mostly) and make decisions that they can live with. I don't think it's lost the "emotion" I think it's just changed and swaped gears and they don't have to be all emotional anymore. I think there have been some great emotional scenes in this season so far... -Naley (Haley yelling at him) -Naley (when Jamie went missing) -Leyton (at Tric --a few times) -Library (enough said! ) -Breyton (reunion and after LL got engaged) -Peyton (speech in the gym to Lucas) So, I guess what I want to know is do you think OTH has lost all it's emotion in the sense that no one acts "crazy and irrational" like they did in high school??

I watched the last 2 episodes of season 2 today, and indeed, it's different, but that's from 3 years ago. I think that OTH is better now. If I look at the first few episodes of season 5, I have to agree. That wasn't that great. But since the episode after that Lucas proposed to Lindsay, it's much better! I think that they just needed to build up the storylines again. If you look at the first few episodes of season 1, they weren't that extreme too, they just needed to build up the storylines. And that was the same in season 5, the only thing that they didn't had to tell was their past, but we lost 4 years that needed to be filled and all.

I think the beginning of season five started slow because they really didn't leave many untied storylines or cliffhangers for season five, in case we didn't get one. I am glad it's picked up and I agree it has gotten much better since Lucas proposed.

Well, the whole show is really amazing, and it was difficult for me to decide which season is my favourite. I basically changes daily =) Today-it's season 3, because it had so many amazing episodes...and I don't think season 5 is less emotional. In some ways, it's even more emotional than before. They are all grown up now, and don't hide their emotions anymore, just express them.

I don't think it really changed at all...but it just adapted to the characters and them growing up, you know?

I totally agree with both of you! Maybe season 5 is a bit different, but the ratings are even better and more people watch. My brother even watches every episode, while before he only wanted to see the episodes with basketball games in it.

I agree with you all. I think that this series is just as good and emotional as the others. And i think that my sister must be like a female version of your brother anna because she only ever watched the episodes with Cheerleading in but watches them all now!

haha, yeah, that's possible. My brother watches every episode now too! He has seen all season 5 and just a few episodes of season 1 till 4. But that's okay, the story is easier for him to pick up now! And he is such a fan of Jamie!
