- At 22:58 just after Luke makes his comment, "How would you know, you weren't even there." to his mom. There is a man's voice in the background that said "A$$ hole."
- When Lucas and Haley are walking and talking about him quitting the team Lucas says he has never walked away from something before but in the pilot episode Lucas says that when he found out that Dan was his father he walked away from junior leagues.
- When the team is leaving the locker room to start the game, (the game at the end of the episode) Lucas is in front of Nathan. But when they enter the gym Lucas is the last one to come into the gym from the team. Would Nathan and Lucas really switch places?
- In the scene where Peyton storms out of Nathan's car due to him making fun of Lucas for playing so bad, Nathan throws a CD out the car window, which Peyton then yells, "darnit Nathan, that was Hard to Find! It was an import!" The song that is playing is "Hard To Find" by American Analog Set.
- Haley: Dawson's Freaks starring Rocket Roe and Bunny Beaugard.
Chad Michael Murray guest starred on Dawson's Creek for a while as Charlie Todd. Hilarie Burton also guest starred on Dawson's Creek as a DJ.
