Here is the first picture of Britney Spears reprising her role as Abby, a receptionist at a dermatologist’s office, on the hit CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother.

When Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Abby (Britney Spears) realize that they have one thing in common — their mutual hatred of Ted (Josh Radnor) — the “couple” decides to go to the bar to flaunt their new relationship in Ted’s face. Ouch!

“I had such a great experience the last time I was on the show that I couldn’t wait to come back,” Brit said in a statement Monday. “I was really looking forward to working with this cast and crew again. Everyone was so nice. Abby is going to have a lot of fun!”

How I Met Your Mother episode “Everything Must Go” airs on Monday, May 12 @ 8:30PM ET/PT on CBS.

I love that show so much! I watched all 3 seasons in July and fell deeply in love. Especially with Barney Stinson/Neil Patrick Harris, Robin Scherbatsky/Cobie Smulders and Barney/Robin.

But I love them all. Marshall Eriksen/Jason Segel, Lily Aldrin/Alyson Hannigan (Alyson is pregnent btw. , Ted Mosby/Josh Radnor Stella Zinman/Sarah Chalke. Oh and the writers!

So anybody else watching?

How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan gets some hands-on protection from husband Alexis Denisof Thursday as the parents-to-be step out for the 15th annual Lint Roller Party at L.A.'s Hollywood Palladium. The event benefited the Best Friends Animal Society's in Los Angeles, which helps find homes for homeless animals.
