AKA Where I end and You Begin
Lucas asks Keith to play with him in the annual "Father and Son" basketball game, and realizes he got the better father figure after Dan publicly humiliates Nathan on the court. Meanwhile, Peyton turns down Nathan’s attempts to make it up; she is actually having a hard time dealing with the anniversary of her mother's death and finds a comforting ally in Whitey. Haley continues tutoring Nathan and their developing friendship bothers Lucas.

The "Father/Son" game!
A classic for season one, I love the drama with Keith and Dan at the game...Dan challenges Keith, and Keith is there for fun because he is Lucas's uncle, and Lucas asked him to play.
But I don't like in the game when Dan makes fun of Nathan, and makes him mad, but I love how Nathan and Lucas play well that night and let Dan win, and then Dan "takes" the credit! Haha.

This is one of my favorite episodes of the first season!
I hate that Peyton had to struggle with the dead of her mom alone. It was aweful to see her pain and it was so great of her that she could stop for that red light at the end of episode!
The father and son game showed the beautifull relationship between Lucas and Keith and I loved that!
I just hate that Dan has to try as hard as he did! He should have seen the fun in it and not the push to show that he is still better as Nathan!

But that is how Dan is hardwired, he has been that way, and always will be that way. Always pushing others, challenging them to be better than him, but then if they do well, he treats them like crap.
