Twilight's Facinelli: Necking With Robert PattinsonIt's not exactly kissing and telling, but Peter Facinelli likes to brag about what it was like to neck with Robert Pattinson in Twilight. "It was great," Facinelli (above with Elizabeth Reaser as Esme) says with a laugh. "I can actually say I'm one of the few guys who have necked with Rob Pattinson. A lot of people are envious of me." Before you get your Brokeback Mountain undies in a twist, know that it's no hanky-panky between the two in the movie adaptation of the best-selling young-adult vampire novel. Facinelli plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen, a centuries-old vampire who is seen in the flick taking a bite out of Edward Cullen (Pattinson) to turn him into a fellow bloodsucker. What really sucked for Facinelli, however, was having to dye his hair blond for the Catherine Hardwicke-directed movie... "I was walking down the street one time and I looked at a guy," Facinelli remembers. "He looked at me and I smiled to say hello, and he said, 'What ya lookin' at?' I was like, 'Nothing.' And he literally turned around and started following me, like he wanted to kick my booty just because I had blond hair." He better get used to those golden locks. It's not official yet, but it's fairly certain there will be at least a couple of Twilight sequels. Finally, Facinelli says, his 11-year-old daughter with Beverly Hills 90210 star and Dancing With the Stars contestant Jennie Garth can see something he's actually been in. As of now, they've limited her to teen fave What I Like About You and another film in which he played a blind mountain climber. "Most of the stuff I've done in the past is for adults with a lot of gun shooting and cops," Facinelli says. "For a long time it was 'I know Mommy's an actress, but what do you do, Daddy?'" Twilight's Taylor Lautner Gets Wiggy With ItTaylor Lautner doesn't know how they do it, but Twilight fans seem to find him no matter where he is. "Some people found me in my hometown—at the mall!" Lautner told me the other day during a whirlwind press tour for the movie. "They were like, Yeah, we've gotten autographs from every one of the castmembers except you." Lautner, 16, plays Jacob Black in the flick, out Nov. 21. For those who don't know by now, Twilight centers on high schooler Bella Swan (Into the Wild's Kristen Stewart) who falls in love with Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a fellow classmate who happens to be a vampire. Jacob's a friend who first tells Bella about Edward's bloodsucking background. Sure, snagging a role in one of this year's most anticipated movies is pretty sweet, but it got even better for Lautner when he found out he'd be wearing a wig because his character has long black hair... "I thought, how cool! I've never worn a wig before. This is going to be awesome," said Lautner, who played Christian Slater's son in the just-canceled freshman television series My Own Worst Enemy. "But after the first day of filming, I was through with it. It was itchy and always in my face." There's been no official announcement, but like everyone else involved, Lautner is more confident than ever that we'll seeing more of Meyer's four-book series turned into movies by director Catherine Hardwicke. And Lautner is really jonesing for the third, Eclipse. "It's my favorite because it's a love triangle, where all three [Bella, Edward and Jacob] are together," Lautner explained. "Bella is so lost and confused. It's like, Who's the guy for me? Is it Edward my love or is it Jacob my best friend?" Source: E Online

Robert Pattinson Talks Bare Bellies, Biting Strangers
Things are getting weird for Robert Pattinson.
But considering he's starring as high school vampire Edward Cullen in the movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling young adult novel, Twilight, that's probably to be expected.
Still, just last week the 22-year-old British actor was at an Apple store in New York City when a 7-year-old girl asked to take a photo with him. No big deal, right?
“But then she went really quiet and she was like, 'Can you bite me?' ” Pattinson told me with a somewhat nervous laugh yesterday in a Beverly Wilshire Hotel room, where he’d been holed up doing press all weekend. “It wasn’t a joke...I looked at her and thought, 'Do you know what you’re saying?' There are these kinds of sexual thoughts that come out of people that they don’t even know are sexual.”
And to think the movie doesn’t even hit theaters until Nov. 21.
Pattinson insists he never actually thought he’d be cast as the mysterious and potentially dangerous vampire who falls in love with the new girl in town, Bella Swan (Into the Wild’s Kristen Stewart).
“I was embarrassed going into the casting because in the character breakdown, the first line is, 'Edward is the ideal perfect man,’ ” he said. “I literally put it off for five months and then I went in mainly because I had seen Into the Wild and I wanted to meet Kristen because I thought she was cool. But I felt like an idiot being like, “Hi, I’m here for the ideal man audition.“
And it only got worse from there. He had to take his shirt off for director Catherine Hardwicke (Thirteen) because Edward’s perfection includes a six-pack, something Pattinson didn’t have at the time.
But once he landed the role, he decided it was time to get fit. He began a two-month daily regimen that included three hours of kickboxing and at least two hours of running. He not only gave up beer but he also limited his meals to just one a day.
“I was just trying to lose like every ounce of body fat so when I took off my shirt, I would look like an alien,” Pattinson said, presumably meaning a hot alien. “I thought that kind of worked for the story. The idea of taking my shirt off and looking like some sort of Adonis? Everyone would just laugh.”
But then things went slightly awry. Two weeks before shooting, Hardwicke told him the shirtless scenes were being tossed because he had gone too far. He'd lost 30 pounds since the last time she had seen him. “I just looked so different,” he said. “I was so much more muscular than I had ever been in my life, but I looked weird.”
Hardwicke eventually relented and did shoot a shirtless scene or two, but Pattinson's stomach ended up on the cutting room floor because by that time, he said, “I was on a full cheeseburger diet.”
Pattinson and his costars take off this week for a six-city promotional tour around the U.S. Then it’s off to Australia. "I haven't really had time to reflect on it," Pattinson said. "It's pretty nuts. It doesn't seem very real at all. I just go to these different cities and people start screaming."
With Twilight being the first in Meyer’s four-part series, a sequel is likely. However, an official decision won’t be made until studio execs see box-office numbers. But Pattinson is confident they’ll be back for more. “I have ideas already about the second one,” he said. “I’m looking forward to doing a saga.”

Robert Pattinson Covers Entertainment WeeklyRobert Pattinson pretties up the cover of this week’s edition of Entertainment Weekly. The 22-year-old British actor and his blockbuster film, Twilight, are taking center stage in the issue. The movie made over $70 million at the box office opening weekend - a record for director Catherine Hardwicke, who is now the only female director in history to have a film gross that high. As Kristen Stewart and Robert take a mini-break for the Thanksgiving holiday, Robert is showing a bit of the rebel in him. He shared, “‘I cannot wait to cut my hair. It’s so annoying! I was at a photo shoot the other day, and people were saying, ‘They say we can’t touch your hair. You have trademarked hair!’ No, I don’t.” Be sure to pick up your own copy of EW this weekend!
