Fandom Unites to Support Stephenie!

With regards to the events of the Twilight fandom recently, we, the administrators of several websites, have heard your pleas requesting something be done to support Stephenie.
So, to answer the question of "what can we do" that we have heard repeatedly over the last twenty-four hours, we propose the following list of suggestions.
Feel free to participate in one or all of the events.

1. Post this for your MySpaces, Blogs, LiveJournals, website sigs etc. tinypic.com/view.php?pic=9g8uwo&s=4

2. Write a letter to Stephenie at

3. Participate in a "We support Stephenie Meyer" video. All you have to do is send a picture of yourself showing support to [e-mail] and put "VIDEO" in the subject line. Be creative with your show of support, but make sure it is a still photograph and not an actual video. We will take the photos and make them into a video that will later be posted on You Tube.

4. For those of you graphics people who want to do something, we have another idea. We are going to make a virtual quilt. Send a 200 X 200 support graphic to [e-mail] and we will work it into a virtual support quilt. Make sure you put "QUILT" in the subject line.

5. On Saturday Sept. 13, in honor of Bella's birthday, wear a twilight themed t-shirt to show your love of the series. If you work or have other obligations that won't allow you to wear a Twilight shirt, wear all black, white, and red to show your support.

All entries for the video or quilt must be submitted by Wednesday Sept. 3, 2008. You are certainly welcome to do one in each category, but that is by no means a requirement. Also please submit each item in a separate email as it will make our sorting go faster. If there is some sort of detail we left out that you need help with, email [e-mail] with "HELP" in the subject line and we'll see what we can do.

I'm not actually going to take part in this because, although I do adore Stephenie for writing one of the best series ever, just think how she must feel! She has got to be so fed up of hearing about Twilight especially with the movie coming out and now even more people are going to send her letters and barrage her emails etc etc etc

Nah, i think this will do her good, i mean she got a lot of hate when breaking dawn was released from so called 'fans' who slated the books storyline
I think it kind of knocked her confidence in writing and the fans kind of scared her, so its nice that they're doing something nice for her
I dont think i will write a letter though, firstly because i dont think i need to- the ones who insulted her should write to apologize, plus im kind of slightly annoyed how shes stopped writing Midnight Sun! Afterall, Its not like the fans leaked it! It was someone who she gave the copy to, and yet its the fans who are being punished, probably still because shes hurt over the whole breaking dawn thing, which yeah i do feel really bad for her over
Needless to say i think the whole 'support Stephenie' thing is a good idea, its nice for people to show that they appreciate her writing the amazing books!

It sucks that she got so much bad comments about Breaking Dawn, I haven't read it, so I can't say anything about it, and I haven't read the breaking dawn topic, so I don't know about it!
But it sucks how everything goes and I hate that for her!
Maybe it's good that people apologize to her or support her, so that way I think this might be good!
I really hope that she will finish Midnight sun!!

I think it's good that fans are rallying around her to support her. She wrote a fantastic series and they are making it into a movie...that is awesome!

I just can't believe she stopped writing Midnight Sun, I think that every Twilight fan is looking forward to that book!!

Yeah everyone was!
I was so excited about it, so i was really disappointed when I found out, hopefully Stephenie will go back to writing it perhaps after the film comes out, afterall maybe she just needs a break for a while first, I hope so!

Yeah, I hope she goes back to finish the book!
I downloaded the file, but haven't start reading.
Is it only Edwards' point of view of Twilight or is it more?

Its only his point of view of Twilight unfortantly
But its not the full story, Stephenie only put up half, i dont think she even has the rest completed... but still its good that she wrote even that amount, i guess.

Okay, I was afraid that if I would read it, it might spoil something about Eclipse or Breaking Dawn!
But I really hope that she will finish the rest of this side of the story!!
