Fans Determine the Greatest Character in 'One Tree Hill' History

With no One Tree Hill to look forward to tonight, I thought it'd be fun to allow fans to vote for the greatest OTH character of all time. It may not be as thrilling as a new episode of the show, but arguing the merits of certain characters is always a good way to pass the time. Last week I created a showdown that allowed everyone to vote for their favorites, and now the results are finally in. This may be the only election more important than that presidential thing happening in November, so read on to see who has been chosen as the most awesome Tree Hill resident ever.
Your Take
I wanted to give even the most minor One Tree Hill characters a chance to rise to the top, which is why I allowed fans to vote for a total of 23 different people. Even Junk and Fergie made the cut, though they didn't garner many votes. Fergie came in dead last in the poll with a mere 476 votes, and Junk came in 21st with 497. Victoria fell right in between the two, proving that not many people like Brooke's she-devil of a mother.
I mentioned in my previous article that I was rooting for Dan to make it to the top, but unfortunately he landed at number 16, far behind the likes of Keith, Karen and Mouth. Where's the Dan love? As sad as that makes me, I'm not about to complain too much, because my other favorite One Tree Hill character kicked everyone's butt in the competition. According to the fans, the best OTH character of all time is:
JAMIE!
This brings me an endless amount of joy, because I think Jackson Brundage is the most adorable child in the world. Jamie had a total of 2,039 votes, but Brooke came in a close second with 2,012. The top five was rounded out with Haley and Nathan tying for third place with 1,943 votes each, and Lucas landing in fifth with 1,860. I guess loving Dan and loathing Lucas puts me in the minority, but I stand by my feelings.
