I know, I know, its been ages sine i've posted but what can i say? I've been busy! However, i thought i should post this anyway because its Stephenie's latest book!!
(if there's italics in teh synopsis, i put that in for a reason!)
Synopsis Stephenie Meyer and Meg Cabot head up this collection of 5 thrilling paranormal stories which take bad prom nights to a whole new level. Imagine discovering you're dancing with the Grim Reaper -- and he isn't there to tell you how hot you look. Worried that your Prom Night is gonna bite? In this thrilling collection, bestselling authors Stephenie Meyer and Meg Cabot take bad prom nights to a whole new level -- a paranormally bad level! Clothes disasters and falling over your own two feet are nothing compared with discovering you're dancing with the Grim Reaper -- and he isn't there to tell you how hot you look! From vampire exterminations to angels fighting demons, these 5 stories are more entertaining than any really bad DJ spinning his stuff. No corsage or limo necessary -- just good, scary, sexy fun
Its out on 06/08/2009 in UK. I'm not buying. Prom = boring

This actually sounds a bit too scary for me, but I might read it anyway! Not sure yet, but it takes ages till it comes out in dutch anyway, so I still have time to figure it out!

Actually, both. I'm not exactly the kind of girl who can sit around and get all dolled up. I'd rather wear the baggy shirts and skinny jeans than spend hours on hair, make up and worse of all A DRESS!!!!

haha, do you realise how much you sound like Bella that way, Cloe??
I didn't go to mine, so I don't have a clue how it is, but this book sounds interesting, so I think I'm gonna check it out when it comes out here.

It was just standing around with the occasional dancing. And that's it. Then we got to watch all the idiots in school that were always messing around get awards for bein a**holes!
And the dress! OMG i had to wear a friggin dress!! See, Bella doesn't mind dresses, she just doesn't like wearing expensive dresses.
ME + DRESSES = AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHH

Yeah we had them award things at my prom as well... most of it was like you said- the idiots winning. But some of it was okay because a few of my friends won some. Like two of them won 'best couple', and another won 'best dressed' and 'funniest person' so that was cool and they weren't even the over-popular people Kind of agree though... with some things it was all so obvious, like the most popular (and also the most annoying) people won 'prom queen and prom king' arghh aha In reference to the dress thing... you could have always gone in a suit Cloe, one girl in my year did... haha

I was NOT gonna wear a suit! Being one of the guys was bad enough without actually dressing up like a guy!!!
