Here are all the voice overs of season 4!!
Episode 401: The Same Deep Water As You
Lucas: "My name is Lucas Scott I'm a senior at Tree Hill High School. Tree Hill is just a place somewhere in the world, maybe it's a lot like your world; maybe it's nothing like it. But, if you look closer, you might see someone like you; or, someone like my best friend Haley. If you're married, a senior in high school, and not sure if your husband is still alive, your world is a lot like Haley's. Today was supposed to be the best day of her life. But, it's amazing how things can change in a blink of an eye, or in this case, in about 29 minutes."
"The things that take 14 minutes: boiling an ostrich egg, Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' video, it also takes 14 minutes to get from the Melina Bridge to Tree Hill Hospital. In those 14 minutes, three lives hung in the balance. For the rest of us there was nothing to do but wait. I guess that’s why they call in the waiting room."
"'Someone should call Dan.' Dan Scott is many things: the mayor of Tree Hill, the once great high school baseball player, and Nathan’s father. He's also my father, but he never claimed me. Believe it or not, I got the better end of the deal. I was instead raised by my mom with the help of my Uncle Keith, until Keith’s life was taken."
"Peyton Sawyer is a good friend. Brooke Davis is my girlfriend, at least for now she is."
"I guess I should have said something, anything. I mean for a guy who wants to be a writer, it suddenly seemed like no words had ever been written, but when someone tells you that they somehow stopped missing you, you're pretty much screwed no matter what you say. See, but there had to be something, right? Something that no one had ever said in the history of the world, something that could change this. That wasn't it." [ During his break-up with Brooke ]
"My name is Lucas Scott; I am a senior at Tree Hill High School. I play basketball, at least I used to. I have a girlfriend, at least I used to. And, I have a best friend. Tree Hill is just a place somewhere in the world. Maybe it's a lot like your world. Maybe it's nothing like it. But, if you look closely you might see someone like you. Someone trying to find their way; someone trying to find their place; someone trying to find their self. Sometimes it’s easy to feel like you’re the only one in the world who's struggling, who’s frustrated, or unsatisfied at barely getting by. But, that feeling is a lie and if you just hold on; just find the courage to face it all for another day, someone or something will find the way and make it all okay. Because we all need a little help sometimes, someone to help us hear the music in the world. To remind us that it won’t always be this way. That someone is out there, and that someone will find you."
Episode 402: Things I Forgot At Birth
Lucas: "There are moments in our lives when we find ourselves at a crossroads. The choices we make in those moments can define the rest of our days."
"And, of course when faced with the unknown, most of us prefer to turn around and go back."
"There are moments in our lives when we find ourselves at a crossroads."
"But, once in a while, people push onto something better. Something found just beyond the pain of going it alone. And just beyond the bravery and courage it takes to let someone in."
"Or to give someone a second chance."
"Something beyond the quiet persistence of a dream."
"Because, it's only when you’re tested that you truly discover who you are."
"And, it's only when you're tested that you discover who you can be."
"The person you want to be does exist; somewhere on the other side of hard work and faith and belief. And, beyond the heartache and fear of what lies ahead."
Episode 403: Good News For People Who Love Bad News
Lucas: "You ever look at a picture of yourself and see a stranger in the background? It makes you wonder how many strangers have pictures of you, how many moments of other peoples lives have we been in, we're we a part of someone's life when their dreams came true, or were we there when their dreams died. Did we keep trying to get in, as if we were somehow destined to be there, or did the shot take us by surprise. Just think, you could be a big part of someone else's life, and not even know it."
Episode 404: Can't Stop This Thing We Started
Lucas: "There comes a time when every life goes off course. In this desperate moment, you must choose your direction. Will you fight to stay on path? Will others tell you who you are? Or will you label yourself? Will you be haunted by your choice? Or will you embrace your new path? Each morning you choose to move forward or simply give up."
Lucas: "There comes a time when every life goes off course. In this desperate moment who will you be? Will you let down your defenses, and find solace in someone unexpected? Will you reach out? Will you face your greatest fear bravely? And move forward with faith. Or will you succumb to the darkness in your soul?"
Episode 406: Where Did You Sleep Last Night?
Lucas: "Life comes at us from out of the darkness. And at times we can struggle to find the courage to face it."
Lucas: "When life comes rushing at you from our of the darkness, who will you choose to face it with? Will it be someone you trust? Will they be wise? And will their love for you help them to guide you to the light? Or will they lose their way in the darkness? Will they make noble choices? Or will that person be someone untested, someone new? Life comes rushing at you from out of the darkness, when it does -- is there someone in your life you can count on? Someone who will watch over you when you stumble and fall? And in that moment, give you the strength to face your fears alone?"
Episode 407: All These Things That I've Done
Lucas: "Regret comes in all shapes and sizes. Some are small like when we do a bad thing for a good reason. Some are bigger like when you let down a friend."
Lucas: "Some of us escape the pain of regret by making the right choice. Some of us have little time for regret because we're looking forward to the future. Sometimes we have to fight to come to terms with the past, and sometimes we bury our regret by promising to change your own ways."
Lucas: "But, our biggest regrets are not for the things we did -- but, for the things we didn't do. Things we didn't say that could've save someone that we care about. Especially when we can see the dark storm that's headed their way."
Episode 410: Songs To Love and Die By
Lucas: "Have you ever wondered what marks our timing? If one life can really make an impact on the world? Or if the choices we make matter? Sometimes in order to move forward, you have to go back. In this case, just a few minutes."
Lucas: "Have you ever wondered what marks our timing? If one life can really make an impact on the world? Or if the choices we make matter? I believe they do. And I believe that one man can change many lives... for better, or worse."
Episode 411: Everything In It's Right Place
Lucas: "Have you ever had a dream that seemed so real when you woke up you did't know what to believe? What would you do if what you thought was ture wasnt and what you thought wasnt true was?"
Lucas: "Have you ever had a dream that seemed so real when you woke up you did't know what to believe? What would you do if what you thought was ture wasnt and what you thought wasnt true was? Would you retreat into your dreams with the hope of finding a more perfect reality? Sometimes life is stranger than a dream. The only way you wake up is to face the lies hidden in your soul and you can only hope that in those moments of dark reflection you are not alone"
Episode 412: Resolve
Lucas: "Sometimes pain becomes such a huge part of your life that you expect it to always be there because you can't remember the time of your life when it wasn't. But one day, you feel something else. Something that feels wrong only because it's so unfamiliar and in that moment you realize you're happy."
Lucas: "Happiness comes in many forms. In company of friends, in the feeling you get when you make someone else's dream come true or in the promise with hope renewed. It's okay to let yourself be happy because you never know how fleeting that happiness might be."
Episode 413: Pictures Of You
Lucas: "Do you ever wonder how long it takes to change your life? What measure of time is enough to be life altering? Is it four years like high school? One year? An eight week rock tour? Can your life change in a month, or a week, or a single day? We're always in a hurray to grow up, to go places, to get ahead. And when you're young, one hour can change everything."
Chase: "Today I spent an hour with Brooke Davis and I learned something. People are going to label you. It's how you overcome those labels. That's what matters."
Brooke: "I spent an hour with Chase Adams. He's a Clean Teen and that's pretty cool."
Peyton: "People think they know Nathan Scott. I know I did but I discovered something knew today. Nathan Scott is a marter. He is also going to be a terrific farther."
Nathan: "I spent the class with Peyton Sawyer. It reminded me of what a good friend she is. Also learned that considering recent history, she isnt quite ready for the whole picture thing.
Mouth: "Some of you have met Shelley Simon, Clean Teen but today I got to know Shelley Simon, teen. I also asked her to prom."
Shelley: "An hour ago, I called Mouth McFadden nice. He is. But I should have called him dangerous. I also said yes to prom."
Rachel: "This is one of the best classes I ever had. A kick ass 50 minutes during which Bevin told me she always wanted to be a guy"
Bevin: "I spent an hour with Rachel. I think she learned today that I am not an idiot. This is my picture of her."
Skills: "All the years I have known Haley James 'Book Worm' Haley James 'Sarcastic girl' Haley James Scott 'Rockstar' Haley James Scott 'Mother-to-be' Today, I got reacquainted with just Haley, my good friend. She's getting heavy too."
Haley: "Skills has been a friend since we were young and today I remember why. He's a great listener. He's going to do awesome in college and he deserves to be on top of the world."
Glenda: "50 minutes ago, I called Lucas Scott a 'jock' but I was wrong. He is more than one simple word. I guess we all are. Anyway, I learned that Lucas Scott is a lot like me. Who knew."
Lucas: "I wish I would have hung out with Glenda before today. Something tells me she could have been a great friend. But it's good to know there is still a little time left to do that. And I also learned her last name. And I learned, that one hour, can change everything."
Episode 414: Sad Songs For Dirty Lovers
Lucas: "Do you ever wonder if we make the moments in our lives or if the moments in our lives make us?"
Lucas: "If you could go back and change one thing about your life, would you? And if you did, would that change make your life better? Or would that change ultimately break your heart? Or break the heart of another? Or would you choose an entirely different path? Or would you change just one thing, just one moment? One moment, that you've always wanted back."
SPECIAL: Honey Grove 417 Podcast
Chad Michael Murray: "Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplacable spark. In the hopeless swamps of the not quite, the not yet, and the not at all, do not let the hero in your soul perish and leave only frustration for the life you deserved, but never have been able to reach. The world you desire can be won, it exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours."
Mark Schwahn: "Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplacable spark. In the hopeless swamps of the not quite, the not yet, or the not at all, do not let the hero in your soul perish in the only frustration for the life you deserved, but never have been able to reach. The world you desire can be won, it is real, it is possible, it is yours."
Episode 417: It Gets The Worse At Night
Lucas: "William Blake once wrote 'there are things that are known and things that are unknown and in between there are doors'"
Episode 18: The Runaway Found
Lucas: "Sometimes I wonder if anything is absolute anymore. Is there still right and wrong? Good and bad. Truth and lies. Or is everything that goes with it left to interpretation. Grey. Sometimes we are force to bend the truth, transform it because we are faced with things that are not of our own making and sometimes things cant simply jump to us."
Lucas: "Truth is still absolute. Believe that. Even when that truth is hart and cold and more painful than you could ever imagine. And even when truth is more cruel than any lie."
Episode 20: The Birth and Death Of The Day
Lucas: "Graduation Day Tree Hill High A day when we officially leave the refuge of high school and begin our real lives but what are those lies as we go into the world what matters most. Is it about the things we create, the things we achieve the awards we win? Is it about who we are when we fail? Whats more important? What we become or how we become it?"
Haley: "My best friend reminded me of a quote by William Shakespeare. Thats seems appropriate. There is a tide in the affairs of men, which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune. Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat. And we must take the current when it serves, or lose our ventures. I think what that quote means is that life is short and opportunites are rare and we have to be vigilent in protecting them and not only the opportunities to succeed but the opportunity to laugh to see the enchantment in the world and to live because life doesnt owe us anything. As a matter of fact, I think that we owe something to the world and if we can just believe"
Episode 21: All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone
Brooke: "Now is the time for us to shine. The time that our dreams are within reach and possibilites fast. Now it's the time for all of us to become the people we have always dreamed of being. This is your world. You're here. You matter. You have been waiting. "
