Well i think we know by now that this is my favourite relationship  I can't wait to see how it plays out in Breaking dawn, even if it's just as a friendship i hope that he is always there for her! I think he will be  |

He has always been a decent friend to her, that I can't deny. But I just don't think they are meant to be, forever. You know???
But I like Jacob, I just think he needs to find his own girl and stop trying to steal Edwards.

Yeah, i like how he's always there for her I liked him in new moon, after all he basically kept her alive didnt he? Saving her from the cliff, Laurent, everything.. But he turned.. bitter(?) in Eclipse, just not the same, and i have always read the books for E/B I really would like it if they could stay friends and have a proper resolution though, maybe Jacob giving his blessing to them or something, it just all seems so messed up by the end of eclipse... |

I am not quite to the end of Eclipse, but Emma I got to the point last night I was so pissed at Bella and Jacob I stopped reading it and threw the book across the room, literally. I HATE JACOB right now!

Well, it's the part right before Victoria and Riley show up in the clearing, the moment when Bella asked Jacob to kiss her! I was so mad at her, and at Jacob for being a jerk...he knows that Bella wants Edward, why can't he just deal with that and be her friend!

SpoilerI thought you meant that bit, i just didnt want to say it in case i gave anything away, haha I hated that so much! Its the one bit that makes me not like the book so much! Like what keeps on it on the same level as New moon! Its like Jacob kind of manipulated her.. he wouldnt have commited suicide really! But yeah, i hope Bella makes it up to Edward, that part was really disappointing!

I wanna read Eclipse!!! haha, I am so curious for what you girls are talking about, but I haven't read those 'spoiler' posts! haha.
Anyway, I don't hate Jacob that much. He really saved Bella in New Moon and I'm glad that he did, but I don't think he is meant to be for Bella either. I love Edward and Bella and I don't want them to be apart.
I did start to hate Jacob at the end of New Moon tho, when he asked Edward if he could have Bella! Well, in his mind! I think that Jacob is a bit selffish and doesn't see what Bella wants!

Haha, the part you two are both talking about hating...I loved it! When she asks him to kiss her it's first just to keep him but then she realises that she loves him and it's an amazing moment i think!!! I dont hate him for it one bit, i love that he loves her so much he'l never give up as long as there is even a tiny chance that she wants him too!

I really hope that the love-triangle doesn't come up in Breaking Dawn 'cause i got a bit fed up with it in Eclipse. I just wanted to yell "I get it! JACOB LOVES BELLA WHO LOVES EDWARD BUT ALSO LOVES JACOB. I GET IT!!"
I loved him in New Moon, it was sooooo sweet!

I love in New Moon about what he does for Bella, he is a great friend for her, but he could never love her and sacrifice things for her like Edward can, and did in Eclipse.

Yeah, i agree Meg Basically to sum up my opinion on jacob [dont know if anyone will agree...] In twilight- i thought he was okay, ...he was just there you know, kind of like the other school kids i didnt really get much of an opinion of him while reading it and didnt think things would turn out that way, but i did think he was sweet, and was useful in telling Bella the stories In new moon- I liked him, because of everything he did for Bella and plus because their friendship was so cute at first, when they were fixing the motorbikes, and then going on them, and at the cinema and stuff, though i didnt like him so much after he became a werewolf and grew up a bit more, he became more mean and more arrogant. In eclipse- i grew to hate him for all the things he did basically, there was only a couple of moments i really liked him in, by the end i really hated him I dont know what role he'll have in breaking dawn though, hopefully he could become new moon Jacob again. |

I agree with what you said... Twilight: In this book I thought it was funny that he didn't believe in any of the "scary stories" he told about the wolves and cold ones. But he still gave Bella the reports and messages from Billy...which to me was weird. New Moon: I was glad he was around in the beginning, someone that Bella could relate to. He helped her recover from Edward's disappearance. Until Edward came back and things started changing. Eclipse: I kept hating him more and more and more...at this point, he is ok, but I still don't like him as a match for Bella. |

Yeah, I agree with both of you!
Twilight ~ In this book he wasn't really that important to me and I didn't really notice him, altho I still think it's great that he told Bella the 'legend' about Edward. He was kind of a friend for her and was indeed just like those other schoolpersons, not too important enough to really remember him long.
New Moon ~ I'm really glad that he helped Bella getting back on track in this book! She really needed him and I was glad that he helped her! But I also agree that I started to dislike him more and more after he turned in that werewolf. He didn't talked to her anymore and I really started to hate how he thought that if Edward would go/stay away he would get her! He should know that her heart is with Edward!!!

I agree, if he was any kind of friend he would know she is happy with Edward, that is her soul mate and who she wants to be with. He should have backed down.

And part of me gets that he likes her and he has a right to be that, but he shouldn't tell her.
That scene in the woods when Edward reads in his mind that he wants Edward to go so he can have Bella was so stupid! Jacob shouldn't do that! He hurts Bella so much with it!
That's what I hate about Jacob, to me he is too selffish when it's about Bella. He wants her for himself but doesn't concider what she wants.

Part of me thinks it is fine for Jacob to tell Bella how he feels, but that isnt just it, he constantly tells her and tries to make her love him in New moon, even when shes previously shown she doesnt want him. But thats exactly why i love Edward so much. He puts Bella before himself, and although he doesnt always do the right thing [Hint: New moon], he always tries to as long as he thinks he's doing good by Bella, and would let her go, if its what she wanted. |
