Taylor Swift is a Billboard BabeCountry’s teen queen Taylor Swift shows how much of a fighter she is in the new issue of Billboard. “Being on a little record label, you have to fight harder than being on a bigger record label to be on award shows, to be a performer and a presenter and to get big tours and support,” shares the 18-year-old country singing sensation. “My record label had 12 employees when I put out my album and my single and I just kept looking around and thinking, ‘Some day we are going to grow and this is going to change and we are going to have a fighting chance.’”

Taylor Swift: Got Milk?Taylor Swift is the latest star to don the Milk Mustache in a Got Milk? ad for the Body By Milk ad campaign. Here’s what the 18-year-old country superstar had to say: Swift Pick. In this business, you’ve got to be decisive. So I choose milk. Some studies suggest that teens who choose milk instead of sugary drinks tend to be leaner and the protein helps build muscle. So eat right, exercise and drink 3 glasses of lowfat or fat free milk a day. Music to my ears. You can log on to BodyByMilk.com and upload a video of yourself interviewing the country super star. Taylor will respond personally to ten people and one lucky fan will even win her autographed acoustic guitar. Source: JJ, click here for more photos.

Taylor Swift Shares Joe Jonas Heartache Country superstar Taylor Swift was interviewed on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS FM radio show on Tuesday morning. (Earlier this morning, she warned girls to stay away from ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas in her latest video blog.)
The 18-year-old songstress tells Ryan about what she did on election day, how she loves talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, admits that she was dating Joe Jonas and how the breakup affected her: “I’ve written about [the breakup] and I write about my life…that’s just how I deal with things. It’s tough and it’s been tough.”
Taylor will appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on November 11th, the same day her new album Fearless hits stores.

Taylor Swift: Stay Away From Joe Taylor Swift just posted an excellent video blog, chock full of goodies. The 18-year-old country superstar is now able to laugh about the split from her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas, who broke up with her over the phone last month. At mark 4:15, Taylor holds up a Camp Rock doll of Joe and jokingly says, “See, this one even comes with a phone, so he can break up with other dolls.” And again, at 4:40, she holds up both the Joe doll and a Taylor Swift doll and says, “Stay away from him, okay?” Other parts of the video include Rascal Flatts pranking her, Halloween with her band, and performances. Celebrity cameos are also made by pal Selena Gomez, Patrick Dempsey, Mario Lopez, Brad Paisley, Martina McBride and other country music stars. Don’t forget that Taylor’s new album, Fearless, drops on Tuesday, November 11th. P.S. I love Taylor. I spent 15 minutes rolling on the floor laughing after the doll scene! Sassy. Taylor Swift: Joe Jonas Dumped Me Over 27-Second Phone Call
Taylor Swift confirms she was dumped by Joe Jonas over the phone in a record 27-second call in October.
Ellen DeGeneres says on her talk show (airing Nov. 11), “He broke up with you on the phone? That’s not right.”
Taylor responds; “It’s all right - I’m cool. You know what, it’s like, when I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 27 seconds when I was 18.”
Ellen was shocked by Taylor’s honesty, saying, “No, you did not. Aw, snap!”
Taylor continued, “I’m sorry. I had to. [The split] was, like, a record, I think, for how quick. I looked at the call log - it was like 27 seconds. That’s got to be a record.”
When Ellen asks Taylor if she’d date Joe’s brothers, Kevin or Nick, she said, “Oh my gosh! Probably not!”
Taylor also took to her MySpace Celebrity page to dispel pregnancy hearsay: “I read a very creative rumor this morning saying I’m pregnant, which is the most IMPOSSIBLE thing on the planet. Take my word for it. Impossible.”

Taylor Swift Can’t Sleep, Excited About Album ReleaseTaylor Swift arrives at her downtown Manhattan hotel on Sunday night in New York City. The 18-year-old country music star couldn’t sleep last night because her new album, Fearless, drops in stores at midnight tonight. Taylor just blogged an entry titled “And it all comes down to this.” Here’s what it says: “Hey guys! I should be sleeping, because I have to get up in a few hours to go to Good Morning America tomorrow– but I can’t. I can’t stop thinking about the fact that in less than 24 HOURS, the new album is going to be out. It’s crazy to think about, because this is literally everything I’ve thought about for the past two years. I’ve been wanting you to hear these new songs since the very moment of their creation. Every single song has a face attached. They’re all about people. Some even mention names. But most importantly, these songs tell my stories.
“These songs tell the story of my freshmen year of high school, and the day I met [my BFF] Abigail. They tell the story of the guy who apologized over and over again without ever meaning it. The story about saying goodbye to someone when you don’t want to, because you can’t breathe without them. The story of the boy who never realized he was with the wrong girl, and that the right one was right there in front of him. The story of my childhood, and the moment I realized my mom was the best friend I’ll ever have. The memories of running and laughing and having the best days with her.
“These songs tell stories about fairytale romances, and how sometimes they don’t work out the way you dream about when you’re a little girl. Because when we’re young, we dream about Romeo and Prince Charming– and we hope he’ll ride up on a white horse and rescue us. But sometimes the white horse shows up too late, after the prince has already let you down and left your dreams out in the rain. I never read a fairy tale with that ending. I guess that’s the hard part about living in reality.
“One song tells the story of the underdogs who spent every day dreaming about the day they’d see things change, and the story of the night things finally…. did. And they sang hallelujah. There’s the story of the first date that’s so magical, you want to dance around the parking lot in the rain. In your best dress. There’s the tragic story of the boy who walked away–because he found some other girl to promise forever to. Then there’s the love story about how it can all actually work out perfectly and wonderfully. And how love really CAN be everything we dream about. About how someday, we all just might find the one that will kneel to the ground and pull out a ring and say “Marry me, Juliet. You never have to be alone. I love you and that’s all I really know.”
And maybe that’s wishful thinking. But maybe… that’s just being fearless.
Midnight tonight. Be there.

Taylor Swift: My Biggest Splurge Is My Tour Bus
[/img]http://cdn.buzznet.com/media-cdn/jj1/headlines/2008/11/taylor-swift-glamour-awards-2008.jpg[/img] Taylor Swift keeps is classy in at the 2008 Glamour Women of the Year Awards at Carnegie Hall on Monday in New York City.
When asked what the biggest splurge she’s made since making it big, Taylor told Just Jared, “I think my biggest splurge so far has been my tour bus. If I’m spending money, it’s gonna be putting it back into my career. I don’t like to be extravagant any other place. My tour bus is really important because I live there. I’m there more than when I’m home. So, I put a fireplace on my tour bus and a flip-down treadmill and a really comfortable bed. I feel like I’m home whenever I’m on my tour bus. I do not regret that splurge.”

Several JJ readers sent in photos last night and wrote in to talk about Taylor Swift hanging out with Intern Adam at Wal-Mart in Hendersonville, Tenn. (This is the same Intern Adam that was fired for leaking the recent Britney Spears Womanizer single and then subsequently rehired.) Check out Adam’s thoughts on Taylor on his blog, Internadam.com! The pair walked side-by-side to a rack of CDs, which prominently displayed her new album, Fearless (in stores today). According to spywitnesses, there was plenty of laughs, smiles, stares, giggles and hugs. “There was lots of tumblings throughout the crowd about the new guy,” one onlooker said. Taylor Swift recently talked to Just Jared about everything from her best friend in the business to the last three ring tones on her cell phone. Here’s a sampling: Your album Fearless (IN STORES TODAY) consists of mostly songs about guys. Do you prefer writing love songs or break up songs? I really like to write songs about relationships. I like to write about boys and I love to write about every aspect of love. I think that it’s really fascinating to me how many angles there are to a breakup. There are so many different things you can write about one breakup. So right now, that’s my favorite thing to write about. But also when you’re falling in love with someone, when you’ve just gone on the best date ever and you write a song about it. I think capturing that moment in time is really important and really fun. I am just fascinated by the whole relationship thing and that’s my favorite thing to write songs about. JJ: You update your Myspace blog from time to time, so you must check out other blogs. Which ones do you read regularly? TS: I read blogs a lot actually. And I love JustJared because you’re really really nice and you’re really positive and I really appreciate that. And usually the people that comment, the people that read your blog are all really cool too. That’s been fun. I read Perez and OceanUp. I don’t know. My dad gets Google Alerts on me and he’ll send me those every once in a while, so it’s just random stuff. I really do appreciate the fact that you’ve been so supportive and so nice to me so thank you. JJ: When you went on tour with Brad Paisley there were a lot of pranks played. Which one was your favorite? TS: Going out on the Brad Paisley Tour, that was a notorious tour for pranking. Before I went out on tour, I knew that he pranked a lot of his opening acts a lot towards the end of the tour. I was out on the road with Kellie Pickler and Brad and we became best friends, Kellie and I, and we decided that we were gonna start pranking him the first week. He had a brand new song out then called Ticks, so Kellie and I ordered these huge, gigantic, full body tick costumes and dressed up in them and ran out on stage during his performance of that song. And then we had the other opening act – Jack Ingram – come out dressed up like an insect killer guy with the mask and the spray gun and everything and he proceeded to come out on stage and spray us and kill us. It was great, it was really fun. We have it on video and that’s definitely my favorite moment of the tour. JJ: You recently attended the Another Cinderella Story premiere starring Selena Gomez. You two seem like such good friends. Do you have a best friend in the business? TS: I’d say Selena Gomez is definitely my best friend in the business. We talk all the time, almost everyday. She’s just such a cool person because she’s so real and a lot of times people get to a level where they’re famous and people know them, people recognize them and they become…less real and Selena’s so cool because she’s got a great sense of humor, she’s a real person. It’s really awesome to have gotten to know her and have her in my life. JJ: Do you play any other instruments besides the guitar? TS: The instrument that I write on most of the time is a guitar. You know, I’ll be sitting in my room and I’ll get an idea for a song and I’ll just grab my guitar and start adlibbing. I think that when you write a song on piano it gives you a different feel. I’m not the best piano player but I do know chords and I do know how to play and how to write a song on piano. It’s really fun for me to get to switch that up every once in a while and there are a few songs on the new record that I wrote on piano. JJ: What’s been the biggest splurge since you made it big? TS: I think my biggest splurge so far has been my tour bus. If I’m spending money, it’s gonna be putting it back into my career. I don’t like to be extravagant any other place. My tour bus is really important because I live there. I’m there more than when I’m home. So, I put a fireplace on my tour bus and a flip-down treadmill and a really comfortable bed and it’s just…I feel like I’m home whenever I’m on my tour bus. I do not regret that splurge. JJ: Besides work, what’s something you’d enjoy getting up early for? TS: I’m really into breakfast now. I don’t know why. I was never really a breakfast person before but just recently I’ve come to realize that breakfast is awesome. So, I don’t know. A breakfast date or something. Or if Grey’s Anatomy was on at 6 a.m., I would get up everyday and watch it. Or every week. JJ: What were the last three ring tones on your cell phone? TS: The last three ring tones on my cell phone have been “It’s Over” by Jesse McCartney, “You’re So Vain” by Carly Simon and “Low” by Kelly Clarkson. That’s pretty depressing right? JJ: Where is your high school diploma in your house? TS: My high school diploma was mailed to me. I’m really excited because I didn’t test out or get my GED. I actually went through the whole process of home-schooling. It was pretty tough doing it on the road, but I made it a priority and got my diploma in the mail this summer. Very excited about it. I don’t know if we have it hung up yet because we haven’t really had much time to hang anything up. It’s weird, I walk into my room and it’s like a time wrap from when I was in eighth grade. I have no new pictures up. It’s like all of me in junior high, it’s pretty crazy. Hopefully we’ll get some time this winter to hang up some new pictures and my diploma and things like that. JJ: Tell us three things people don’t know about you? TS: I think three things people don’t know about me are that one – I have really bad eyesight. So I have these huge glasses that I wear that are the ugliest pair of glasses you’ll ever see in your life. But they were the ones in the glasses store that no one was going to buy. They were in the corner, they’re all dusty. I’m like, ‘no one is going to buy those, and they’re so ugly’. So I had to buy them. That’s one. Two is that if I don’t have coffee in the morning, I get a headache at night. Three is that I like to paint. Whenever I have downtime, whenever I’m home, I’ll turn off all the lights in my room and light candles and listen to music and paint. Usually I’ll send them to people – like to the radio programmers or things like that. But I like to paint. Source: JJ

Taylor Swift: Joe Jonas Cheated On MeTaylor Swift is laying it all out there, calling her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas a cheater. “[Joe and actress Camilla Belle] have been together for months,” Taylor tells OK!. “That’s why we broke up.” (Joe dumped Taylor over a 27-second phone call just last month. You do the math.) It was reported yesterday that Joe, 19, has a new older love, 10,000 B.C. star Camilla, 22. When asked if she and Joe are still friends, Taylor curtly replied, “We don’t talk.” (They haven’t talked since the break-up call.) Source: JJ
